How do I track my order?

Once your order has been shipped, an automatic email with the tracking number is sent to the email address provided. Once the email is received, simply copy the tracking number provided and go to www.usps.com and paste the tracking number under “Track & Confirm.” Vonmaur.com ships all packages via the United States Postal Service.

When will I receive my order?

If shipped via Priority Mail (compliments of Von Maur) please allow 4-5 business days for order fulfillment and an additional 2-3 business days for shipping time. If shipped Express Mail (additional $45 rush fee) the order will arrive next-day or second-day, depending on the destination, once the order has been shipped. Please allow an additional 2-3 days for order fulfillment. Please note that any orders placed on Friday (after 2:00pm) all day Saturday and Sunday are not fulfilled until the following week. Von Maur only ships orders within the United States (including APO's & FPO's).

How do I know my order went through?

Once your order has been received, an automatic email is sent to the email address provided confirming an order was placed. The checkout screen will also confirm the order was successfully completed. There is an issue with your order if the submit button was clicked but the checkout screen did not say the order was confirmed. If the order was placed onto a bankcard, your banking institution will hold the funds for each time the submit button was clicked, even if your order did not successfully go through. These funds will fall off of your account within 3-5 business days, depending on the banking institution. Please contact said banking institution with any questions on unsuccessful bankcard order attempts. Information must match exactly what the bank has on file.

Some explanations for bankcard orders not going through are:
· Billing address provided does not match exactly what bank has on file
· Any part of the billing name or address was keyed incorrectly
· The account number was keyed incorrectly
· The expiration or CVN number was keyed incorrectly

**Please note that if the checkout screen does not show the order was confirmed and an email was not received your order has not been accepted. For security reasons, orders will not be accepted if any of the necessary information does not match exactly what the bank has on file or if any of the information was keyed in error.

I am prompted to input a CVN number, but my Von Maur charge doesn’t have one. What is this?

For security purposes all cards now have a 3-digit code on the back. If this is your first online order with Von Maur simply leave this field blank and your order will be processed. Once your order is complete our credit department will be notified and a new charge with a CVN code will be sent out. Von Maur will allow this field to be blank only for the first order and any future orders will need to have the security code added.

How do I add a gift message or gift-wrap?

Von Maur offers free gift-wrapping perfect for any occasion. Select the gift occasion and message while items are in your shopping bag. Simply click on “Gift Wrap & Messages” to include gift-wrap and a special message. Simply click on the item to move it into a gift box. Once the gift-wrap and message are complete click on "update message." Please note that the gift recipient will NOT be made aware of the gift givers name unless it is included on a personalized gift message.

Why does nothing happen when I click “Gift Card” for payment type?

Our gift card payment option is a pop-up window. If this box is not appearing on your screen, your computer may be blocking this pop-up box. Once you click the gift card dial you should receive a message at the top of your screen (under the URL browser) that states that the pop-up box has been blocked (this is typically a yellow colored banner). If you click on this, you should be able to select the option to allow pop-up boxes.

Can I purchase a gift card online?

Gift cards are available for purchase online or in any store location. The gift card icon is on our homepage in the bottom left-hand corner. You may also enter the words “gift card” in the search box to get results. Gift cards are available in traditional gold or holiday red.

I want to ship multiple items to different addresses. Can I do this within the same order?

All items must be shipped to the same address within an order. A separate order will need to be placed for each shipping destination.

Why did an item disappear from my shopping bag?

Items are removed from a shopping bag after 3 hours so other customers may have the opportunity to purchase the items.

What if the size/color I need is not available for purchase?

If a specific size or color cannot be placed into your shopping bag that specific item is not available for purchase online, however it may be available at one of our other store locations. Please continue to check back as our inventory levels are updated.

Are size charts available?

Size charts are available for a very limited amount of items. If a size chart is available it will be under the “alternate view” tab beneath the product image. We are unable to offer a generic size chart for all products as no two brands offer identical sizing.

How do I make a return or exchange?

With receipt, you may receive the original form of payment. Without receipt, you may credit your Von Maur charge or receive a merchandise credit.

We will gladly accept your return at any of our Von Maur stores. If you would like to return your product by mail, using a documented shipping carrier, please direct the return to the following address:

· Please document the tracking number for return shipments.
· Please ensure your name and address are included with your return. If you are using a shipping company to mail back the package their information will show up as the return
  address provided. If this is the case, a note must be enclosed with the return customers full name and address so we can mail back the return receipt.
· The original receipt or copy of receipt must be included with the return or exchange, along with a note of instruction.
· Please allow 2 weeks for your return/exchange to be processed in our warehouse.

What is the price adjustment policy?

Within 7 days, an adjustment may be granted when the original receipt is present and the exact item (same size and color) is in the store at first markdown. Sale merchandise will not be adjusted.
