Are you ready to become a buyer or manager within your first year? Gaining exposure to all facets of the business helps our Executive Trainees move quickly in their career. Every Executive Trainee is different. The program allows you to move at a pace determined by your performance. We allow you three to six months in a Sales Associate role to gain knowledge and confidence in your position. After three to nine months as a Department Manager, you will be ready for your executive role in buying or store management.

Are you ready to relocate? Executive Trainees benefit by being relocatable to all Von Maur stores for advancement opportunities. Each store location varies by customer, pace, market size, and management style. These differences allow you to sharpen your skills for your next step.

Are you ready to learn the business behind the fashion? As a Sales Associate, you gain an understanding of our company philosophies, which revolve around our customers. Your initial placement on the sales floor provides a foundation on which to build your career. In your Sales Associate position you will:
