Can I remove an item from my order once it has been submitted?
Yes. An item can be removed as long as the order has not yet been fulfilled. Once an order begins the fulfillment stage, adjustments including eliminations or additions to the order cannot be made. If the order has not been fulfilled in our warehouse, the order can be cancelled. You can then place a new order including the adjustments you had previously requested.

I purchased some items online a month ago and I did not keep the receipt. Can I still return them?
Yes, you may still return them. Without receipt, you may receive credit to your Von Maur charge or receive a merchandise credit. Please note, price may vary if receipt is not included in the return package.

I received an error message while I placing my order online, but I am seeing the charges on my bank card. What do I do?
We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your recent visit to VonMaur.com. The order you placed online was not received by Von Maur and you will not be charged for the purchases you tried to make. (If your order had been accepted, you would have seen a confirmation screen and a confirmation email would have been sent to you.) Since your credit card information was entered, your banking institution has put a "hold" on these funds. The charges you see on your statement will fall off in 3-5 days, depending on your banking institution.

In regards to the problem you experienced, we have a verification system in place for validating bank cards. This system is in place for our customers' security, due to the information that is being shared when placing an order. When placing an order, customer names, billing addresses and phone numbers must match exactly with the information on record with the banking institution. Any slight difference detected in this information will cause the transaction to end. We do encourage all customers to verify the billing information with their banking institution before placing an order. The expiration on my credit card is not going through.
Please key in the "0" if the month is a one-digit number. You will then need to key in a "/" and the full four digit year.
I placed an order and should have received a gift with purchase.
All Von Maur Gift with Purchase (GWP) offers are limited to one per person per household, while supplies last. Our system may have found another order with the same information including another gift. Due to the duplication in information, multiple gifts would not be sent. If you have not placed duplicate orders for the GWP, please contact the Von Maur Customer Service Department at (877)866-6287 Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm CST or you may reach us by email at CustomerService@vonmaur.com.
How do I change the shipping address on an order I placed?
You are not able to change any information on an order, including shipping and billing information, once the order has been submitted. If the order has not been fulfilled in our warehouse, the order can be cancelled and a new order can be placed using the new shipping address.
Can purchases online be put on a Contract when using a Von Maur charge for the payment method?
Yes, Contracts can be issued with online purchases of $500 or more. In order for the purchase to be put on a Contract, you will need to contact the Credit Department at 1-800-458-0396 the day of the purchase and provide them the order number and total dollar amount of the order. The new Contract will then appear on your next statement.
Can I place an order today and have it held so that it ships on a specific date?
No, all online orders are processed in the order that they are received. We cannot hold orders or merchandise for a specific timeframe or day.
I would like to make a purchase using a Gift Card and my Von Maur Charge. How do I do that?
First, you must enter the Gift Card as the payment method. At the top of the screen, it will ask for the balance that you would like to pay. After you enter in the Gift Card balance you wish to use, you may select the Von Maur Charge payment option. From there the remaining balance owed for the online purchase will be applied to the Von Maur Charge.
How long do returns take to process that were purchased online?
Returns can take up to two weeks to process at the Ecommerce Warehouse.

***Refunds can take 7-10 business days to appear on your account, depending on your banking institution.
How can I apply for a Von Maur Charge?
You can apply by following the Interest Free Von Maur Charge link located in the footer of the homepage. You may also apply at any register in a store location, or by completing the mail in trifold brochure which can be obtained at any store location.
Do you offer alterations?
Yes, alterations can be done on Von Maur merchandise at any store location. Von Maur merchandise purchased online can be taken to a store location to be altered.

*We do not complete alterations on non-Von Maur merchandise.
Are alterations complimentary?
Some alteration services are complimentary, however some will have a small fee included. Please contact your nearest store location's Alterations Department for more information.
Can online purchases be shipped to a Von Maur store location for pick up?
No, online purchases at VonMaur.com cannot be sent to Von Maur store locations.
When I key in my zip code, the screen says it is wrong. What do I do?
Please check to ensure there are no spaces in the zip code. The system will not accept a zip code with spaces.
I am receiving a message in the checkout screen that states my address does not match my Von Maur charge. How can I checkout?
We may have a different address on file with your Von Maur charge. Please contact the Credit Department at 1-800-458-0396 and they will be able to review your current information and make any changes to your address if it is not current.
I have tried to place an order online and the screen is saying my billing information does not match my bankcard. How do I get this fixed?
We recommend customers contact their bankcard provider and verify with them directly what address information is on file before placing another order. Our system is set up with security measures for our customers' protection and if all of the payment information, including addresses, is not entered correctly, it can cause an order to not go through. Any pending charges that appear on the bankcard will drop off in 3-5 business days.
There is not a section to indicate I would like an exchange on the order form. Can I send in my item to make an exchange?
Yes, we are happy to exchange items or locate new replacement items for our customers if the original item does not work out. Please indicate on the Order Form that you would like an exchange and include any information about the new item you are wanting. Please also include the best phone number to contact you in case we need any further information.
When I am looking at my account information in My Profile, my balance does not change when I make a purchase.
The only time the balance information for the Von Maur charge changes within My Profiles is when the statement cycles once a month.
When do orders wanting overnight shipping need to be placed?
Overnight orders must be submitted by 12:00pm CST Monday-Friday in order to be shipped the same day. Orders after 12:00pm and those placed on Saturday & Sunday will be processed the following business day. FedEx does NOT deliver overnight shipments during weekends or holidays.
When will my order be fulfilled?
We ask that customers allow 1-3 business days for fulfillment in the Ecommerce Warehouse (this does not include Saturday/Sunday). Once the order has been fulfilled, we ask that you allow 1-5 additional business days for shipping. You will automatically receive an email containing the tracking number once the order has been scanned into the FedEx system and has been shipped out of the Ecommerce Warehouse.
What is Proposition 65?
Proposition 65 is a standard legal notice regarding leaded crystal items that is required by the state of California to appear with every purchase being shipped into the state. How do I add my Von Maur Charge payment information in My Profile for future purchases?
See below for instructions on how to add your Von Maur Charge payment information to your My Profile account. Once your Von Maur Charge information has been saved, you will be able to check out with ease by selecting your Von Maur Charge as your payment option. The fields will then automatically generate your Von Maur Charge information for the purchase.

Step 1. Log into your My Profile.

Step 2. Click "Add my payment methods" under the Payment Methods section.

Step 3. Add your Von Maur Account information.

Step 4. Select "Save Payment Method".
I cannot see my transaction information for an online purchase I made.
In order to view transaction or order information on the website, My Profile must be linked to your Von Maur account and the transaction in question must be placed while you are logged in to your My Profile.

Once everything is saved in My Profile and you are logged in, your order information and transaction information will be available to view on future purchases. See below for further instructions on how to link your Von Maur Account with your Von Maur My Profile.

Step 1. Log into your My Profile.

How do I link My Profile to my Von Maur Account?
See below for instructions on how to link your Von Maur Account with your Von Maur My Profile.

Step 1. Log into your My Profile.

Step 2. Click "Add my account information" under the My Von Maur Account section.

Step 4. Select "Link My Account".

Going forward, you will be able to view your Von Maur Account information when you are logged into your MyProfile. You will also have the options to go paperless and set up automatic payments.
The price I have been charged is different than the price in my confirmation email. Why?
An order confirmation email is sent with each order placed at VonMaur.com. This confirmation email is sent when the order is received in our system and will include the price of the items at the time the order was placed. We do not actually charge you until the order has been fulfilled in our Ecommerce Warehouse. There is a possibility that between order placement and order fulfillment, one or more of the items have gone on sale. We will charge you the price indicated for the item at the time of fulfillment, which could be the sale price, if applicable. If you would like an updated copy of your receipt including the correct prices that were charged during fulfillment, please contact our Von Maur Customer Service Department at (877) 866-6287.
I am having difficulty checking out. I am getting a message "Please select value of gift wrap." How do I check out?
Located above the billing information is a box that will ask if you would like gift wrap. You will need to select "Yes" or "No" to complete this section of the check out process. Once that section has been completed along with the other sections, you can proceed with your check out.
How should a phone number be entered in the checkout screen?
A phone number should be entered with the 3-digit area code followed by the 7-digit phone number. Dashes (-) must be entered between each number grouping.
Where can I ship a package to?
Von Maur orders can be shipped to anywhere within the continental United States including Hawaii and Alaska. Von Maur does not currently ship to US Territories or APO/FPO addresses.*

*Select products are not available for shipping to Hawaii.
How do I track my order?
Once your order has been shipped, an automatic email with the tracking number is sent to the email address provided. Click on the tracking number to be re-routed to www.vonmaur.com to track status updates. Vonmaur.com ships all packages via FedEx.

Please keep in mind, your tracking number will not be activated until FedEx has scanned in the package.
When will I receive my order?
Please note that all packages are shipped via FedEx. Please allow 1-3 business days for order fulfillment and an additional 1-5 business days for delivery

Can I place an order using an International Credit Card for my payment method?
At this time, Von Maur does not accept International Credit Cards for online purchases. International Credit Cards may be used in stores only.
How do I know my order went through?
Once your order has been received, an automatic email is sent to the email address provided confirming an order was placed. The checkout screen will also confirm the order was successfully completed. There is an issue with your order if the submit button was clicked but the checkout screen did not say the order was confirmed. If the order was placed onto a bankcard, your banking institution will hold the funds for each time the submit button was clicked, even if your order did not successfully go through. These funds will fall off of your account within 3-5 business days, depending on the banking institution. Please contact said banking institution with any questions on unsuccessful bankcard order attempts. Information must match exactly what the bank has on file.
Some explanations for bankcard orders not going through are:
· Billing address provided does not match exactly what bank has on file
· Any part of the billing name or address was keyed incorrectly
· The account number was keyed incorrectly
· The expiration or CVN number was keyed incorrectly
**Please note that if the checkout screen does not show the order was confirmed and an email was not received your order has not been accepted. For security reasons, orders will not be accepted if any of the necessary information does not match exactly what the bank has on file or if any of the information was keyed in error.
I am prompted to input a CVN number, but my Von Maur charge doesn’t have one. What can I do?
A CVN number is needed to complete your order. If your Von Maur charge does not have a CVN number, please contact our customer service department at 1-877-866-6287 (Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm). We will gladly assist you with your order and issue you an updated Von Maur charge card.
How do I add a gift message or gift-wrap?
Von Maur offers free gift wrapping, perfect for any occasion. Below are the steps to follow when adding gift wrap or a gift message.

1. When you are adding gift wrap to a package, you first will click "Start a new gift package".

2. Then you will need to add your items to the gift package.

3. You will complete the gift tag information and select the type of gift wrap.

4. Once you have completed these steps, you will click "Save Gift Options and Close".

Please note that the gift recipient will NOT be made aware of the gift giver's name unless it is included on a personalized gift message.
Can I purchase a gift card online?
Gift cards are available for purchase online or at any store location. The gift card icon is located in the footer on the homepage. Gift cards are available in traditional gold or holiday red.
I want to ship multiple items to different addresses. Can I do this within the same order?
All items must be shipped to the same address within an order. A separate order will need to be placed for each shipping destination.
Why did an item disappear from my shopping bag?
Items are removed from a shopping bag if another customer added the item to their shopping bag and began the check-out process.
What if the size/color I need is not available for purchase?
If a specific size or color cannot be placed into your shopping bag that specific item is not available for purchase online, however it may be available at one of our other store locations. Please continue to check back as our inventory levels are updated.
Are size charts available?
Size charts are available for a very limited amount of items. If a size chart is available it will be under the “alternate view” tab beneath the product image. We are unable to offer a generic size chart for all products as no two brands offer identical sizing.
How do I make a return or exchange?
With an original receipt, you may receive the original form of payment. The original price is only refunded when a Von Maur receipt is included with the return.
With a gift receipt, you may receive credit to your Von Maur charge or receive a merchandise credit.
Without receipt, you may receive credit to your Von Maur charge or receive a merchandise credit. Please note, price may vary if receipt is not included in the return package.
We will gladly accept your return at any of our Von Maur stores. If you would like to return your product by mail, please follow the below instructions:

• Do not discard the original shipping package.
• Locate the shipping label on the outside of the original package.
• Peel off the top label to expose FREE* return shipping label underneath.
• The original receipt or copy of receipt must be included with the return or exchange, along with a note of instruction.
• The package may be dropped off at any authorized FedEx location.
• The tracking number for the return package should be noted for your records. This tracking number can be used to locate your package while in transit and verify when the package has been delivered to Von Maur.

Where is the nearest authorized FedEx location to drop off my return package with the free return label?
Authorized FedEx locations are listed at https://www.fedex.com/locate/. From there you will be able to locate the nearest FedEx facility to drop off your package by your zip code. FedEx packages using the prepaid returns labels cannot be dropped into Express Shipping Posts.
