A vintage hat box in an antique shop in Bologna, Italy inspired the Over Dye collection. The leather box had been painted over and over, the seams showing years of wear, with scratches, wrinkles and patches of thick paint. This created that Old World artistry with an updated feel. Patricia Nash paints her leather with many applications, then removes the paint by hand-sanding and various techniques. Waxed to a bold, smooth finish.
